the Dodson Audio DAC is compared to the Burmester 969 CD Player and the
Manley Reference
DAC.

...I have not included the 970 DAC, whose production version arrived in
September, close to this deadline. I would have included it in this ranking,
however, had not its "brain" been acting a little frizzy during the past
weekend. Working optimally, it gives the Manley Reference a run for the
gold. (The Manley also faces stiff competition from the latest version
of the Dodson DAC, which, at about a third the price, is virtually indistinguishable
from the Manley in A/B tests. It took me ages to hear the differences,
so small were they in magnitude.)..."
